Hello Michigan!!! Spent a few weeks in MI with my family. Michigan welcomed us with 60• weather and rain. This was a welcome from TX heat. And the rain brought awesome puddles and all the fun that comes along with those!
Here are a few pictures highlighting of our trip.
Snuggling with Great Grandma … in her favorite mechanical chair. Her own personal ride. 🙂
We’re slowly getting into the ‘baby doll’ phase. Why not roll them wildly around the yard in the rain?
I can’t get this kid to pose / model for me on a regular basis. But when I said I was going to photograph Alex and Rachel, Abigail just HAD to be in the pictures. Punks. 🙂
First day I met Rachel … and I made her pose for me. Such a natural / adorable couple.
Just a little splashing.
Rain boots are awesome!!
Whoops … maybe rain boots in a smaller size would have been better. 😉
Have I mentioned how much I love Michigan?
The amazing teens at the Edge Rock Church. I was also able to hear my baby brother speak to the youth.
Having lunch in the play house that my Grandfather LaVoy made for my mom when she was a kid.
Unpacking her groceries. 🙂
Missed the focus on this picture, but I love it. Just Grandma eating her lunch and Abigail enjoying her playhouse.
Carrying on with a family tradition. Riding with Grandpa while cutting the grass.
Aaaand then the kids found the puddles. 🙂
New friends are the best.
Clean up time …
Oooh the cuteness.
She gets so excited, every . single . time . she makes the hole. Even if it’s the 5th or 6th attempt … or if she puts it in hole herself.
Introduced Abigail to a family tradition of biscuits on a stick. She approves.
They like each other a little bit …
This girl and her eyelashes …
My big girl did so good on her horse. She was a little nervous at first, but then she took control and did so well.
Giddy up. 🙂
Abigail and Rachel … totally smitten. Oh yeah, we like Uncle Alex too.
Just a quiet night at the beach. ‘Hi. I’m here to join your quiet private time.’ *click*
Of course I would take some more pictures …
And the main reason I love visiting MI with Abigail. Any chance she gets to know my grandmother more …
Four Generations … I love them so much.
